When Can You Cancel?

Order cancellation depends on the current status of your order:

Can Cancel

Pending or Processing orders can be cancelled before dispatch

Cannot Cancel

Shipped or Out for Delivery orders cannot be cancelled

Pro Tip: To ensure successful cancellation, request as soon as possible after placing your order. Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days.

How to Cancel Your Order

Follow these steps to cancel your order:

Email us at info@aristodecor.store with your order number

Verification

We verify your order status and eligibility for cancellation

Confirmation

Receive cancellation confirmation via email within 24 hours

Refund

Refund processed (if applicable) within 5-7 business days

Information Required

When requesting cancellation, please provide:

  • Order Number (e.g., AD-XXXXXX)
  • Registered Email Address
  • Reason for Cancellation (optional but helpful)

Cancellation by Order Status

Order Status Cancellation What Happens
Pending ✓ Allowed Order cancelled immediately, no charges
Processing ✓ Allowed Order cancelled if not yet packed
Shipped ✗ Not Allowed Cannot cancel; initiate return after delivery
Out for Delivery ✗ Not Allowed Cannot cancel; refuse delivery or return
Delivered ✗ Not Allowed Initiate return within 7 days

Refund After Cancellation

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, no refund is required as payment is made at delivery.

In the future when online payments are available:

  • Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
  • Amount will be credited to the original payment method
  • Bank processing may take additional 2-3 business days

Note: Currently, all orders are Cash on Delivery (COD). Online payment options coming soon.

Partial Cancellation

If your order contains multiple items, you may cancel individual items before the order is shipped:

  • Specify which item(s) you wish to cancel
  • Remaining items will be shipped as scheduled
  • Order total will be adjusted accordingly
  • If partial cancellation brings order below ₹599, shipping charges may apply to remaining items

Cancellation by Aristo Decor

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel your order. This can happen due to:

  • Product is out of stock after order placement
  • Pricing or product information error on the website
  • Unable to verify or contact the customer
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Delivery location not serviceable
  • Force majeure events

In such cases, we will:

  • Notify you immediately via email and/or phone
  • Offer alternatives if available (similar product, size, etc.)
  • Process full refund if payment was made
